A dream that breathes- A poem

There is not a single thing I want more,
Than to rest a little before I’m ready
But there’s no rest for me,
There is Santa Monica right in front of me,
But just a tad out of reach,
All I need is one big leap

There could be eighty million martians, Conspiring against my innovations,
But they’re no match for me
Cause when you are a dreamer like me,
Nothing can wake you up from your reverie,
I know I’ll never accept defeat

What have I got to lose,
Now that I’ve lost everything,
What have I got to fear
When failure’s just an obvious reality,
Accepted my mistakes,
Accepted my flaws,
All that’s left to do now
Is dare enough to dream…

Here is where I document my life. Every moment, every thought, every emotion. I hope you stay, dear reader, but if you leave... There are no hard feelings.
